As a single mother, I know what it's like to carry the weight of providing, protecting, and pushing forward while wondering if life would ever get easier. I know what it's like to make decisions from a place of scarcity, to feel trapped by circumstances, and to wonder if there was more available for my family than simply getting by.
But I also learned something powerful:
